About Oyster Bay Lodge
Located between Knysna and Port Elizabeth lies Oyster Bay Lodge, a beautiful Coastal Reserve which is set on 100 hectares and incorporates magnificent dunes, woods, river deltas, beaches, wetlands, lagoons, free-roaming horses and an extensive birdlife.
The TGCSA 4 star lodge is strategically located for excursions to Tsitsikamma National Park, Baviaanskloof, St Francis Bay and Addo Elephant National Park.
A variety of activities like horseback riding on the beach, hiking trails on the coastal reserve, sundowners on one of our decks and bird watching will give our guest the opportunity to experience the coastal reserve. Our private and unspoilt sandy beachfront of 3.5 kilometres makes Oyster Bay Lodge a little paradise in the Eastern Cape.
St Francis Bay has two beautiful 18 hole golf courses.
To start or end your journey along the beautiful Garden Route, Oyster Bay Lodge is the ideal destination.
Accommodation
Four luxury chalets. All luxury chalets have king size beds, en-suite open plan bathroom with freestanding bath, walk-in shower and separate toilet, fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, safe, fireplace, under floor heating, kitchenette and private veranda with uninterrupted sea views.
Eight comfortable guest rooms. Our guest rooms have a King size bed (7), & Queen size bed (1). All guest rooms have an en-suite bathroom with separate bath, shower and toilet, fridge & coffee/tea making facilities and safe. Six of the guest rooms have a private veranda with sea view. The remaining guest rooms have a view of our green & lush gardens, farmlands and the mountains.
Two Family Rooms. One self-catering Family Room and one Room only. These spacious rooms have 1 living/bedroom, 1 master bedroom and 1 sharing bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, safe, kitchenette & private veranda with braai (sleeps 4).

Map and Directions to Oyster Bay Lodge
From Cape Town
Coming from Cape Town on the N2 turn off at exit no. 632 Palmietvlei and follow the signs to Oyster Bay Lodge (the road becomes a well-maintained gravel road)for 24 km. Oyster Bay Lodge is situated on the right-hand side of the road.
From Port Elizabeth
From Port Elizabeth take the N2 to Humansdorp. Take the exit Humansdorp/St. Francis/Oyster Bay. After entering Humansdorp at the stop street, go straight into the main street. At the end of the road turn right at the T-junction to Oyster Bay and follow the signs Oyster Bay Lodge. The tar road becomes a well-maintained gravel road, after travelling 23 kilometres, Oyster Bay Lodge is situated on the left-hand side.
